Membership consists of three groups the Ordinary Member, the Life Member, Affiliate Member and the Honorary Member.
Ordinary Members consist of graduates and all former students of the University who have been enrolled for at least one semester at the University and who have registered by paying the prescribed annual subscription to the association.
Life Members are also ordinary members who have paid a composite fee equal to 20 annual subscriptions.
Affiliate Members are member who did not attent University of Ghana but decided to be affiliated to the Institution and have paid an amount of One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS 1,000.00) as membership fee.
Lastly, the Honorary Members shall be persons who originally are not alumni of the University of Ghana but who have made substantial contributions to the progress of the University in many ways and have been elected by the Council, to become Honorary members.
