UGAA Membership Types.

Ordinary Members

These consist of graduates and all former students of the University who have been enrolled for at least one semester at the University and who have registered by paying the prescribed annual subscription of Ghs1,000 to the association.

Life Members

These are also ordinary members who have paid a composite fee equal to 20 annual subscriptions or completed making the one-time payment of Three Thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghs3,000).

Affiliate Members

These are member who did not attent University of Ghana but decided to be affiliated to the Institution and have paid an amount of Two Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS 2,000.00) as membership fee.

Honorary Members

Lastly, these shall be persons who originally are not alumni of the University of Ghana but who have made substantial contributions to the progress of the University in many ways and have been elected by the Council, to become Honorary members.
