A delegation from the University of the Gambia has recently visited the University of Ghana. The purpose of the visit was to learn about the operations of some academic units in the university as well as ways of building stronger sports infrastructure and strengthening the skills of administrative staff.
As part of the visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call on Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo.
Prof. Herbert Robinson, Vice-Chancellor, University of the Gambia, on behalf of the delegation expressed appreciation to the University for the warm reception. He underscored the need for African Universities to learn from each other, especially as they share similar social contexts and challenges unique to the African continent.
