VC Commissions the UG Formal Hearing Room

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, has commissioned the UG Formal Hearing Room for the Office of the Legal Counsel to facilitate the hearing of cases before the Appeals Board, Disciplinary Committees and other Committees in the University.

Prof. Amfo, in her speech congratulated the Office of the Legal Counsel on their roles and efforts in the realisation of the initiative. She noted that the Formal Hearing Room comes as a good addition to the University’s infrastructure and will enhance work in a more convenient, efficient and humane manner. Stating that the room fits well into the 21st century and the way things are done, Prof. Amfo expressed the need to well maintain the facility so that it serves the University for a long period. The Vice-Chancellor was excited to know that the room will be available for students to use when there are no hearings before a committee and the University of School of Law could also use it as moot court. She was hopeful that the room would be put to good use to serve its intended purpose.
