University of Ghana has been awarded a grant of Two million and twenty five thousand US dollars by the Carnegie Corporation of New York for a second phase of the project Building A New Generation of Academics in Africa BANGA-Africa. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, signed the grant agreement on Thursday September 26, 2019. In September 2016, the University was awarded a grant of US$2,940,000 (two million nine hundred and forty thousand US Dollars) awarded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, to support doctoral education and early career faculty research capacity development.
